Genesis Invitational 2025: How to See, Plan, More

Fans will have to wait to see Tiger Woods back on the PGA Tour. The 15-time Master, who was expected to debut in 2025 on tour this week at Genesis Invitational at South Course at Torrey Pines in San Diego, said Monday he was still treating his mother’s death and will not play in case. Woods said he still hopes to participate in the tournament, which was moved from its traditional home at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California, because of the devastating fires in Los Angeles.

The opening round of Genesis Invitational, which benefits Woods’ TGR Foundation, would have been nine days since Wood’s 80-year-old mother, Kuldida.

Although Woods will not tie it up on Torrey Pines, the star -studded field will still include 46 of the world’s top 50 golfers, including World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, four-time big winner Rory McIlroy and defending event champion Hideki Matsuyama. The field will compete for a total of $ 20 million, with the winner taking $ 4 million.
