Country Star, Previous NFL QB announces commitment

Country Music Star Lainy Wilson and former Pittsburgh Steelers Quarterback Devlin “Duck” Hodges are engaged.

The couple announced their commitment to the series of Photos sent to Instagram Wednesday. The post was overwritten “4x4xu forever”, a reference to Wilson’s hit song, from her 2024 album “Whirlwind.”

Wilson and Hodges have been together since 2021. The couple performed his first public performance at the Academy of Country Music Awards Show in May 2023.

The couple’s engagement, which was announced, comes days after Wilson appeared in 2025 Grammys. Her album “Whirlwind” was nominated for Best Country Album, which eventually went to BeyoncĂ© for “Cowboy Carter.”

Wilson begins his upcoming Whirlwind World Tour On March 4 in Zurich, Switzerland. The trip returns to the United States in May and ends in November. The tour includes a show at the Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Saturday 4th October.

Hodges, a college football stand out in Samford, played a season in the NFL after Steelers signed him as an eradicated free agent in 2019. He started six starts for steelers and finished 100-of-160 (62.5%) of passes for 1,063 Yards, Five TouchDowns and Eight Shields.
