9 tips to help you

Welcome to the living countries, a mysterious and dangerous place where your emperor has sent you to fight the growing dream height of the height. The Spryim-like Action RPG Promised Tightened me as I previously at Gamescom last year, and now that I’ve spent about a dozen hours of the full game, here’s a list of tips to help you get a better foot forward when you start The game, from settings to fine -tune to exploring advice.

Turn off music volume

Scrrenshot of sound levels.

To transform the music level down to 60%.

The music in this game is far too loud and is constantly struggling with the character dialogue, which makes everything sound like a mess. It seems that the developers even knew about this as the music level has already been lowered to 80% by default, but even this level is not enough. Go into the audio settings and knock it down even lower – I found that 60% was a good place to enjoy the music while you heard what everyone is saying.

Keep an eye on the mini card

Avowed’s mini map is full of different icons and points out collectors’ objects, enemies and quest markers. It is worth keeping an eye on this as it can also help you find some hidden areas and treasures that emerge as you roam around the world. For example, early in the game, I noticed an enemy marker that came from the other side of a wall. Upon closer examination, I found a difficult at-spot switch that opened a hidden doorway. This led to a match with the monster I had noticed on the map and a treasure chest waiting for me behind it.

Explore everywhere for advice and xp

There is a lot to find outside the biggest questline in the promised. Many NPCs will have full conversations with dialogue trees if you interact with them and they have a lot of the world’s lore to share. I found this useful from time to time as they would give me tips and advice on the area I was exploring and what I could expect or how to best tackle meetings. There are also many side tasks found on the map that tended to be more interesting than the main story. In fact, you even reward yourself for exploring by giving you experience points every time you find a new named location, then push these boundaries.

Chat with your companions

You start recruiting new companions pretty quickly into the game and their name and health appear on the left side of your screen. What will also appear in a small icon with an exclamation point, which means they want to have a specific conversation with you. Unfortunately, you can’t have this chat unless you’re in camp that you don’t want to unlock until you have a little into the game a little after you’ve already met a companion or two. Once you have done, however, you can freely travel to camp and review these new dialogue opportunities.

Unlock the image frequency

Unlock the image speed in the Settings menu.

I play recorded on the Xbox Series X, and in the initial settings menu it does not give you the typical priority of image velocity/resolution options. These settings are available, but they need to be changed after you start the game and monitored through the opening cutting scene. However, the real interesting possibility is that Avowed also allows you to unlock your image speed and let you achieve a smoother image than usual. However, the game points out that this is only an option for TVs that supports 120Hz and has variable update support.

Adjust the auto -gem frequency

Avowed automatically stores your game from time to time in addition to letting you create more manual savings whenever you want. You can go into the gameplay settings and adjust how often you want the auto -hint to happen. If you find yourself constantly dying and are sent further back than you would like, this is a great opportunity to fine -tune for more frequent backup gem.

Switch to third -person camera

It may seem like blasphemy to choose not to play a skyrim-like in the first person, but that’s actually how I have preferred to do it. In the gameplay settings you can change camera position to third person to see your character. I have found that this helps me deal with battle meetings against several enemies trying to surround me, navigate platform sections and let me see the new armor and gear I’ve equipped on my hero.

Take advantage of free healing in camp

If you are not in the middle of battle or a dungeon, travel to one of your camp sites is the best way to heal yourself without using items or resources. Simply Warping that will refill your health and essence (magical) meters. Even better when you leave the camp you have the opportunity to exit where the camp is located or back to the exact point you originally raised quickly, which means you don’t have to run back to the place you left.

When the game says you need better gear you need to get it

Early into the main assignment line, you get a side mission that asks you to get armor of higher quality armor. Your companions will even start calling your weak gear during combat to emphasize this. Unfortunately, and one of the more frustrating parts of Avowed, it is gear that the game wants you to get, very expensive compared to where you are at. However, it is strongly recommended that you follow Quest’s advice and use the money to upgrade. Not only will you do less damage and take more damage from stronger enemies, but the game will actually nerf your attacks and buff the enemies with a fixed percentage because you do not use the higher/recommended level of equipment. Save yourself the tired beats and grind your currency (or craft components) to get better gear as soon as you are asked to do so.

A large but slightly challenging way to make money quickly is to take on the different amounts found in each city. These are tasks found on a job board, usually in a group. They make you go out to fight for strong enemies with high value and can give you some quick cash.

Avowed releases on Xbox and PC on February 18.
