Linda McMahon made her attitude aware of trans -cluttering in women’s and girls’ sports during her confirmation hearing for Education Secretary on Thursday.

ONE National Exit Poll Director of the Women affected for America (CWA) Legislative Action Committee found that 70% of moderate voters saw the issue of “Donald Trump’s resistance to trans -transient boys and men who played girls and women’s sports and of transient boys and men using girls and Women’s bathrooms, “So important to them.

Trump promised during his 2024 campaign to ban trans athletes from women’s and girls’ sports. Trump did well with that promise early as he signed no men in women’s sports -performing order on February 5th.

Before that, the Supreme Court in August gave up to deny a bit administration emergency request to enforce parts of the former president’s title IX rewrites that would give biological men in women and girls changing rooms.

How transgenderism in sports changed the election in 2024 and ignited a national counterculture

And as McMahon seems to be confirmed as education secretary, she insists on performing the original mission in title IX and keeping women’s sports for biological women.

“We are really back to what title IX was originally established to do and that was to protect social discrimination. Women should feel safe in their dressing room. They should feel safe in their room. They should not have to be exposed to men, in front of them, ”McMahon said on Thursday.

“I heard someone the other day say, ‘well, guys just had to hold the shower curtain in front of them so they don’t expose themselves.’ I really mean it’s just not what we have to do.

Biden Administration Education Secretary, Miguel Angel Cardona, supported so trans -athletes can compete in women’s and girls’ sports.

Cardona helped prepare the title IX changes that would have banned blankets for transking athletes in public school teams.

In an interview in June 2021 with ESPN, Cardona said “Translere girls have the right to compete.”

“Our LGBTQ student has endured more harassment than most other groups. It is critically important that we stand with them and give them opportunities to engage in what any other child can engage in without harassment,” Cardona said.

“It’s their right as a student to participate in these activities. And we know that sports are doing more than just tying the winner of first, second and third place,” he said. “We know that it gives students opportunities to become part of a team, to learn a lot about themselves, set goals and achieve them and challenge themselves. Athletics give it in our K-12 systems and in our colleges , and all students deserve an opportunity to engage in it.

Now, under the Trump administration, there will be several layers of efforts to prevent trans athletes from competing in women’s and girls’ sports, and McMahon’s agenda will be one of these layers if she is confirmed.

A recent New York Times/Ipsos Survey Found the vast majority of Americans, including a majority of Democrats, do not think transnry athletes should be allowed to compete in women’s sports. Of the 2,128 people who were examined, 79% biological men who identify themselves as women said should not be allowed to participate in women’s sports.

Of the 1,025 people who identified themselves as Democrats or inclined Democratic, 67%said transnry athletes should not be allowed to compete with women.
