game

The Eagles Won the Super Bowl, now you just have to survive the parade.

The celebration begins at. 11 at Lincoln Financial Field, which goes through the city to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. A formal program begins at. 13.00

If you are a Delawareaner planning to participate, there are certain things you may not know that can improve your parade experience. We asked people who have participated in former Philly Super Bowl parades for their tips and that’s what they were coming on.

Stay really familiar with septa

Public transport in and out of town is a must. Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority will run Market-Frankford and Broad Street Lines for free the day of the parade, every 6 to 8th minute, starting around 10am. At 05.00 these took your best efforts to get to and from and parade route.

Not all septa stations will be open Friday and there may be changes at the last minute. Download Septa appCheck Septas Website and Follow the septa on x For the latest updates.

Regional rail lines, like the one out of Wilmington, will have limited and changed service Friday. Check the site in advance.

Be prepared to go

In addition to walking along the parade route, you will have to go to train stations, toilets and other places you want to walk while in town. Wear comfortable goose shoes.

This advice goes double if you dare to drive into town. There will be no parking everywhere near the parade route.

Be prepared to pay to pee

A Philadelphian recommended to wear a diaper, followed by “Just Kidding, Sorta.”

Portable toilets will be located throughout the parade route, but we all know that they are not always in good condition, may have long lines or otherwise be inaccessible.

You may need to buy something on Starbucks or elsewhere to use the bathroom. Have cash available.

Bring back-up power

Your phone will definitely die before the parade is over. You need it to communicate with your friends and family, to septa -info, photos and more. Bring one of these laptop mobile phone charger blocks.

Reach out to friends in the city

Do you know someone in town, someone? Even the guy your ex-boyfriend was in a band with 10 years ago that still likes your insta posts?

Tell them that you are on the parade and see if they will meet even if you absolutely do not want to meet. You can always say your phone died.

There is a good chance that you need them for a place to use the bathroom or even spend the night.
