Supercell thunderstorm is approaching southwest Alabama; Monitoring of the Tornado threat carefully: Alabama -weather blog

From 1 p.m. At 14.45, SuperCell tea weather is on weather in southern Mississippi with 2 active tornado warnings. The first near Hattiesburg and the second near Brookhaven.

We are particularly aware of the near/east of Hattiesburg, as this is on a path that can potentially take it into the Choctaw or Washington comments pretty soon. To be clear, there is not currently a tornado warning for any of the county, but you must be careful about this storm.

Further serious storms are expected over the southern half of the state later in the afternoon and in the evening, so please be weather conscious and have ways of receiving warnings.
