Timothée Chalamet Strips for Tank Top brings Kylie Jenner to Berlin

It’s a very cold February evening in Berlin. When the snow falls and participants in the Berlin Film Festival bundle, Timothée looks chalamet, and goes on the red carpet for a special screening of “A Complete unknown”, completely unattended. Chalamet takes another great fashion swing by wearing a cotton goodbye pink hoodie designed by Chrome Hearts along with pink sweatpants and pink shoes-as to channel a foster bear or the rose-colored PAC man ghost. All his fans (then, so Many girls – but maybe just as many boys) screams and shakes when he takes selfies with him.

And then, when he is signed practically every autograph, Chalamet reminds 29, the audience that he is an A-List movie star. He removes the hoodie and stands in the freezing cold in a matching pink tank top. Yes, this is a leading man-from-to-’90s movement, and the amount goes even wilder. The whole stage is electric and it throws one of the most Gonzo best acting campaigns in the Oscar story.

We can be grateful for that. This price season has taken what was supposed to be a festive time and made it sour – between an ugly social media scandal involving the star of “Emilia Perez”, and Mudsling about the use of artificial intelligence in “The Brutalist” and the deficiency on intimacy coordinators about “Anora.” On the other hand, Chalamet seems to be running an Oscar campaign set in a completely different universe. (While most of his peers have spent the voting period for the Gladhanding Academy members in Los Angeles, he is here in Snowy Germany and meets his fans.) Promoting his role as Bob Dylan, he has added his promotional tour with Askew optimism of One of his recent studio roles as Willy Wonka.

And since his colleagues, who are nominated, have trotted through Q&As, the chalam has largely avoided the traditional banalities of prices. He started his press tour for “A Complete Unknown” in a Puffy Jacket, Handicapping Football on ESPN’s “College Gameday” and made a surprising performance in front of the University of Minnesota Marching Band. He hosted “SNL” and performed double duty as the musical guest and crown three lesser-known Dylan songs with pitch-Perfect precision. He takes Anderson Cooper for a tour of New York where he grew up this weekend of “60 minutes.” And rather than playing the tortured and media-nesting young actor, he fortunately brought his advertising magnet girlfriend Kylie Jenner as his date to the Golden Globes and Santa Barbara Film Festival.

All is to say: Strangely enough, he seems to have fun. In Berlin, Chalamet closed a street earlier in the day and attended a festival press conference. He laughed when a fan asked him to sign a cardboard of a peach (a flash for his most notorious, star star role in “Ring Me By Your Name”) and patient wrote his name on a range of “dune” signage. The whole procession was creepy chill. No screams. No crying. No hysteria. Just hundreds of Germans standing in the snow, waiting patiently and quietly for an autograph from a Hollywood star who is his generation Brad Pitt or Leonardo DiCaprio – and yet appropriate for an age when stars feel more accessible than ever, ever, Can he still give from the friendly mood of your favorite barista in the neighborhood.

As the chalamet went into the screening tonight, he put his pink hoodie again, wearing it like a cloak where his slim legs only highlighted his bad attitude. (As one of his fans said on X, “bad attitude is hot” – at least on him.) The chalamet entered the theater, picked up a Sharpie and signed his name on a poster in the lobby that tradition is tradition of Actors with films playing in Berlin. He referred to a Dylan song that wrote: “Wanna be ‘blind boy grunt’ love from nyc” and then he took a seat and put his hand on his knee on his guest – as a camera in the theater paneled to his girlfriend who (surprise !) Had traveled to Berlin with him.

Will some of this work when it comes to successfully winning an Oscar? Who knows. But the chalamet seems to be living at the moment and appreciating the moment he is in. He reminded us of something that we need to remember (what should be) this time for partying. How does it feel, how does it feel? Wind or loss, it should feel pretty damn well.
