ATP Marseille semi -final predictions including Medvedev vs. Medjedovic

It promises to be an entertaining day with semi -final action at ATP Marseille – Open 13 Provence, with two exciting matches on slate in southern France. As always, here at LWOT, we will offer our predictions for both matches, but who will book their place in Sunday’s final?

ATP Marseille semi -final predictions

Zizuo Bergs vs Ugo Humbert

Head-to-head: First meeting

This has the creation of close content. Zizou Bergs is something of a surprise semi -finalist this week with the Belgian fighting through into the last four with surprising ease. Apart from a tight second set in his second round against Nuno Borges, he has seen Ver Sharp. But the ongoing gets no one easier for Bergs ups the other grafted Ugo Humbert. The Frenchman has not yet dropped a set and will undoubtedly have the home support behind him. It could turn out to be a game change. Both players serve well, so this match is likely to be decided by who can dictate from baseline. Bergs has seen solid, but Humbert is the higher ranked player for a reason. The other seed has more experience and more opportunities. It may be close, but it would be a real surprise was Bergs to pull off the disturbance.

Prediction: Humbert in 2

Daniil Medvedev vs Hamad Medjedovic

Head-to-head: Medvedev 1-0 Medjedovic

Hamad Medjedovic has played some excellent tennis to reach the semi -finals, not least to see the form Daniel Altmaier to reach the semi -finals. But this will be a real step up to the quality of the opposition. Top Seed Daniil Medvedev has had a sub -couple for 2025, but he has looked back to his best (or at least something close to it) so far on ATP Marseille – Open 13 Provence. After disappointing early outputs in Melbourne and Rotterdam, Medvedev has been solid so far in Marseille-beaten both Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Jan-Lennard Struff in straight sets to reach the semi-finals. If he can maintain this level, he should have beaten Medjedovic.

Prediction: Medvedev in 2
