High wind warning that affects carbon and monroe counties on Sunday and Monday

National Weather Service issued a warning of high wind at 1 p.m. 14.17 Saturday, which was valid from Sunday at. 13 to Monday at. 18 for Carbon and Monroe counties.

The weather service describes, “West Winds 25 to 35 km / h with wind throw up to 60 km / h expected.”

“Harmful winds will blow up trees and power lines. Widespread power cuts are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high -profile vehicles,” comments weather service. “Stay in the lower levels of your home under the wind storm, and avoid windows. Look to fall trash and wooden voices. Be careful if you are going to drive.”
