Everton 2-1 C Palace (February 15, 2025) Game Analysis

Everton’s Premier League re-encompassing under manager David Moyes continued on Saturday as they beat Crystal Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park thanks to a late winner from Carlos Alcaraz.

Moyes’ side overcome any fatigue from their dramatic draw with Liverpool Wednesday at Goodison Park and was able to earn twice from a poor Palace defense, where striker Beto sacked his second goal in so many games.

The victory pushed Everton up two places to 13. In the table, marking Moyes’ fourth win in six league games since returning as manager in early January. They are now the same with Palace of 30 points, but somewhere at the back of the target difference.

It was another poor home result for Palace that, despite having found some form in recent months, has still only won two of their league games at Selhurst Park all season.
