AT&T Slam Dunk Competition is upon us or Mac McClung Invitational.

How are you doing, Mac?

I’m good, man.

I appreciate you say that.

You go in 3 in a row after the 1st. 2.

The question is always what more can you do?

What, what more is the next?

Do you have any creative things?

Like what is the pressure going into Saturday night?

Yeah there is, I feel like, oh, for some reason, the more i do what i feel no more comfortable every time but no i think oh i’m really excited about this year .

There are more props than I have ever used.

It’s the most challenging set, but I’ve worked extremely hard on it.

I hope it hopes it goes well.

So you’re not one of these people, you don’t just go out.

Have a plan when you go up in the air.

You already have plans, months and months of planning, months and months of planning.

Ok, can you give us a clue about any of these props, a kind of tip?

I can’t.

It’s too obvious.

I can’t.

You just have to put in on Saturday night.

OK. Okay, now I ask you this.

You were born in what ’99, right?

The last time All-Star was here was 2000.

You were clearly unable to see it, but I’m sure you know about Vince Carter and what he did here.

What does it feel to be part of the descent of AT&T Slam Dunk competition?

Like your name is etched in history.

It’s really surreal.

I, I try to feel like a imposter many times, but it’s just, um, it’s an incredible thing.

I am grateful to be a part of and it is, it is such a cool thing.

How is all this?

You, you’re at the crossover event.

People are shaking your hand, people know who you are.

You are famous, right?

How is it to deal with just.

Fame Even if you are a hooper and before a thump, but people know who you are, they do not prepare you for it.

How is it for you as a human being who is just able to tackle this?

It’s a funny thing, man.

I, I think, as people like it is, it’s really weird to ever believe you deserve people to be fans of you.

I think it’s weird when someone acts extremely excited to see me and I’m like, wow, I’m like what you like you feel about me, man, it just like.

It’s something I don’t take for granted either.

I don’t feel like I feel like an impostor many times, but oh, I’m very grateful to anyone who is interested in what I’m doing and it means a lot to me.

Now the last person who won 3, Nate Robinson, was another little guy.

You try to go for 3 in a row, which has never been done.

Is there a fascination you think with little guys who are dunked as opposed to the 67, Giants of the Game, so to speak?

I think everyone feels it.

It’s fun to see a short guy dunk.

I mean, I’ve always felt it that way, so oh, I think it’s more fun.

Yes.

What would it mean for you to win a third sludge -dunk -competition with odds against you, you have the disadvantage of creativity basically because so many people have seen so many different things.

What would it mean for you to win?

Do you just run the microphone and go away and never come back again?

Yes, I mean it will probably be for me, oh, this year.

I think oh, it would be a cherry on top of a beautiful walk and.

Um, I don’t know, man.

It would be special.

It would be really special.

And even the journey continues.

You are, you are 2, 25, 26 just filled 26.

So the one your journey continues right, even if the journey now continues to the league.

Absolutely.

Hi, congratulations, man.

Thanks, man.

I value you.
