Fortnite update 32.10 patch notes, downtime, Ice Spice, Marvel Rivals and Kicks delay | Game | Entertainment

UPDATE: Fortnite developer Epic Games has disabled matchmaking and taken servers offline for the release of update 32.10.

As the game remains offline until at the earliest 11:00 GMT, fans can now download and install the new update.

ORIGINAL: Fortnite fans are counting down to the release of update 32.10 for PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, Android and Nintendo Switch.

The first and only major Fortnite Remix update of the season has a November 13th release date. According to Epic Games, the update itself will be available for download and installation around 9am GMT UK time, although fans won’t be able to enjoy the new content until the server downtime ends.

Fortnite matchmaking will be disabled around 8:30 GMT while the game will be taken offline for update 10/32 maintenance at 9:00 GMT.

There is no official end time for server maintenance, but the downtime usually lasts 2-3 hours. This means Fortnite should be back online by noon at the latest.

The news was announced by Epic Games on X: “Downtime for v32.10 begins at 4 AM ET with matchmaking ending shortly before.”

The new update introduces Ice Spice to Fortnite Remix. As a reminder, Ice Spice appeared as part of the most recent season finale.

As part of Ice Spice’s look, Shark Island will be transformed into Ice Isle. The POI is described as a “neon-lit, Y2K-drenched abandoned mall with an ominous aura”.

Players will also be able to defeat Ice Spice and pick up her grappler item and mythic rifle. The Ice Spice outfit will also be available in the Item Shop from November 14th, which is when the Ice Spice changes should come into play.

Unfortunately, it’s not all good news though, as the new Kicks cosmetic item has been delayed by Epic Games.

Kicks are shoes that can be equipped by players. Users will still be able to unlock the AJ1 Black Toe Reimagined in the Remix Pass, but they won’t be available to equip until a later date.

“We are delaying the release of Kicks in the 32.10 release while we work on a visual issue,” Epic explains. “Players will still unlock the AJ1 Black Toe Reimagined in the Remix Pass, but will not be able to equip them.

“We are working on a fix now and will let you know when Kicks will be enabled and released in the store. We will provide more updates on this as we have new information.”

Elsewhere, there’s a chance we might get a look at the upcoming Marvel Rivals skins that have been confirmed for Fortnite. However, with the superhero shooter Marvel Rivals not launching until December 6th, it’s more likely that the skins will join the game next season.

Likewise, fans expect the new update to add files for the upcoming season finale, which will feature Juice WRLD.

Needless to say, update 32.10 will also make a number of gameplay tweaks and bug fixes, which you can see in the patch notes below.

• Splitscreen issue when player 2 logs out.

– We are aware of an issue where Player 1 loses controller functionality if Player 2 logs out while in split screen mode. We are working on a fix and will provide an update once this has been resolved.
