Arkansas football DE closes game against Missouri

Arkansas football defensive lineman Landon Jackson left the Missouri game with an injury late in the second quarter in what could be the final game of his career with the Razorbacks.

Jackson was face down on the turf for a long time after a short run Tigers. He eventually fell over, but had to be carried off the field. The training staff tended to his upper body and head and neck region.

All of his teammates left the sidelines and came onto the pitch to offer their support as the delay lasted almost 12 minutes. Jackson gave the thumbs up as he was carried into an ambulance.

The game was stopped for about 10 minutes and was tied 7-7 when Jackson left.

Jackson has been the Hogs’ best player all season after opting to return for his senior season. He will likely be selected in the first or second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Arkansas will play in a bowl game later this year, but Jackson’s status for that is uncertain.

Jackson had five tackles on the afternoon. He leads Arkansas this season with 6.5 sacks.
