Seam Cowboys take the field Monday night at AT&T Stadium in Arlingtonwill they do it again without quarterback Dak Prescott.

The 31-year-old was forced out during the Week 9 game against the Falcon and his partial tendon avulsion, was worse than originally feared and after some internal deliberations it was decided that the player would have season-ending surgery on the damaged hamstring.

After undergoing the surgery originally expected recovery time for Prescott’s injury, which occurred on November 3, was approximately three months, which basically ended the season for the Louisiana-born player.

Prescott, meanwhile, has continued to attend home games eager to lend his support for the rest of the team as the Cowboys fight for a playoff spot in the postseason.
