Schools, public buildings will close on Tuesday, January 7 due to inclement weather

MARYLAND (WBFF) — Due to extreme winter weather, the following schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 7:

  • Anne Arundel Christian School
  • Anne Arundel County Public Schools
  • Baltimore City Schools.
  • Baltimore County Public Schools
  • Carroll County Schools
  • Charles County Public Schools
  • Frederick County Public Schools
  • Gerstell Academy
  • Harford County Schools
  • Howard County Public Schools
  • Maryland School for the Deaf
  • McDonogh School.
  • Montgomery County Public Schools
  • Prince George’s County Public Schools
  • Queen Anne’s County Schools
  • Rock Church Academy
  • St. Mary’s County Public Schools
  • Talbot County Public Schools
  • Washington County Public Schools
  • Wicomico County Public Schools

The following schools are delayed:

  • Boys’ Latin – Two hours late
  • Garrison Forest School – Opens at 10:00 a.m
  • Garrett County Public Schools – Two hours late
  • Grace Classical Academy – 2 hour delay
  • Greenspring Montessori School – 2 hour delay with re-evaluation in the morning.
  • Harford Day School – Delayed by 2 hours
  • North Carroll Community School – Two hours late
  • Roland Park County School – Two hour delay

The following universities will be closed or delayed:

  • Maryland Institute College of Art will be closed.
  • Notre Dame of Maryland opens at 10:30
  • Salisbury University will be closed.
  • Towson University opens at
  • Towson University in Northeastern MD opens at 10:00 a.m
  • University of Baltimore opens at 10:00 a.m
  • Harford Community College opens at 10:00 a.m
  • Howard Community College will be closed.
  • Frostburg State University opens at 10:00 a.m

The following city offices and facilities will be closed or delayed:

  • Annapolis city offices open at 10.30 am
  • Anne Arundel County Public Library.
  • Baltimore County Circuit Court opens at 10:00 a.m
  • Baltimore County Public Library opens at 1 p.m
  • The Enoch Pratt Free Library is closed.
  • Forte Meade will be closed.
  • The Irvine Nature Center in Owings Mills will be closed.
