Some central Ohio school districts are closed or delayed Wednesday

The lingering effects of Monday’s snowstorm have prompted some central Ohio school districts to cancel or postpone school again on Wednesday, January 8.

Most school districts in the area were closed Monday, the first day back from winter break for many. Some were still closed Tuesday. Those with closures or delays Wednesday are mostly in mostly rural areas that had Level 3 snow emergencies that prevented travel until Tuesday, except for emergency personnel, and where sheriffs downgraded the warning to Level 2 later in the day. This designation means that travel is still difficult in some areas, often due to blowing snow.
