Jessica Alba admitted she and husband Cash Warren were more like ‘roommates’ before the divorce report

This was not so “Fantastic Four” their marriage.

Jessica Alba confessed that she and her now-divorced husband Cash Warren were more like “roommates” years before news of their divorce shocked fans on Wednesday.

The “Good Luck Chuck” actress made the revealing comment about her relationship on Katherine Schwarzenegger’s Instagram show, “Before, During and After Baby,” in July 2021.

“It’s all been rosy for two and a half years. But then after that you become roommates,” Alba revealed in the video.

“You just go through things,” she added. “You’re in charge. It’s a lot like checking the boxes, isn’t it?”

Elsewhere in the conversation, the “Dark Angel” alum admitted that she often took their partnership for granted.

“Obviously we have the friendship, the comfort of ‘you’re not going anywhere,’ and then sometimes you don’t treat those people the best, do you?” Alba said.

“You don’t consider their feelings the way you would other people’s feelings,” she continued. “So it’s something that I think is constantly being worked on.”

She shared that the duo tried to work through their issues by “confronting issues” and “being able to communicate when (they’re) unhappy.”

Alba, 43, and the film producer, 45, recently separated and plan to divorce after nearly 17 years of marriage. a source told TMZ Wednesday.

It wasn’t immediately clear why the couple decided to end things, and their representatives did not return Page Six’s requests for comment.

The now exes are parents to three children: daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, and 7-year-old son Hayes.

The family of five just celebrated Thanksgiving with a beautiful vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico last November.

Alba also shared a sweet family photo of their Christmas celebrations together last month.

“Happy Holidays from our family to yours ,” she caption a group photo then.

Breakup speculation began to swirl after both Alba and Warren were seen without their wedding rings in recent weeks.

Alba and Warren met on the “Fantastic Four” set in 2004, when she starred as Susan Storm and he was the film’s assistant director.

Three years later, they got engaged and tied the knot in a courthouse ceremony in Beverly Hills, California in May 2008.
