Practice was underway Thursday night for Memphis Grizzlies rookie Zach Edey.

Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun twisted, twirled and twisted his way to 32 points and 15 rebounds in a 119-115 Rockets win over the Grizzlies inside FedExForum.

Edey struggled, was limited to three minutes in the fourth quarter and did not close out the game in the final lineup.

Houston entered this game as the No. 1 rebounding team in the NBA. Memphis was just behind at No. 2.

Matchups like Thursday are ones where Memphis needs Edey to be at his best later in the season and for a potential playoff run.
