Shaquille O’Neal has an epic moment with the world’s tallest teenager

It’s probably safe to say Shaquille O’Neal has spent most of his life being one of, if not the tallest, person in space. The 7-foot-1 NBA icon is known for his staggering height, and while there are of course people taller than him, we rarely get to see what that would even look like. That is, until now.

In an epic video posted by Shaq and Hot Freestyle, the basketball legend is seen with University of Florida Gators player Olivier Rioux. At 7-foot-9, Rioux is a center for the college basketball team who currently holds the Guinness Record for the world’s tallest teenager.

O’Neal is seen in the video pointing down to director of artist management at Medium Rare, Logan Bohbot, before turning to stare directly into Rioux’s chest. In a hilarious moment, Shaq slowly looks up to lock eyes with the tall teenager before looking directly at the camera with a look of complete shock and awe.

Sore Guinness World RecordsRioux first earned the title back when he was 15 years old, standing at a height of 7-foot-5 at the time. On the official Guinness website, Rioux explains that “after examination” doctors explained that his height has everything to do with the genetics of his family. “My dad is 6’8, my mom is 6’2 and my older brother is 6’9,” he explained. “So we’re a pretty tall family.”

Naturally, fans had fun in the comments of the funny post. In a comment with over 8,000 likes, one user wrote: “Shaq has a great sense of humor. A true man of the people.” Another added: “You know it’s crazy when Shaq has to look up.”

Many were just grateful to Shaq for bringing some levity and laughter to their days. One user wrote: ” Funniest video I’ve seen on the internet today, thanks.” Another added, “It doesn’t even look real,” along with a crying emoji.
