complete line-up, how to get NYC music festival tickets this summer

Although it may still be freezing outside, New York’s music scene is already looking forward to summer, when the 2025 edition of the Governors Ball will once again occupy Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens.

The festival is set to take place from 6th to 8th June and pre-sale tickets go on sale on Thursday 16th January at 10:00 a.m. You can register for the pre-sale code right away here.

Not that you need any extra convincing to join, but the lineup just dropped — and it looks great.

Festival alumni Tyler, The Creator will kick off Friday night, along with a number of other acts including Benson Boone, The Beaches, Tyla and T-Pain.

Pop star Olivia Rodrigo is set to headline on Saturday, with the likes of Feid, Glasshouse, Marina and The Garden also performing.

Irish singer-songwriter Hozier will then wrap it all up on Sunday night. Glass animal, Mt. Joy, Mark Ambor and Snow Wife are just some of the other artists scheduled to take the stage on the final day of the festival.

“Summer in New York City is not complete without the sound of music playing in our parks,” said NYC Parks Commissioner Sue Donoghue in an official statement. “Hosting the Governors Ball at our iconic Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens is the perfect way to celebrate the arts and bring people together. We look forward to seeing New Yorkers and visitors alike join us in Queens for this exciting kick off to the summer of one of our most famous parks.”

While this is the 15th edition of the beloved music festival, it’s only the third time it’s been held at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, making this year’s event feel even more special.

As always, attendees can look forward to some of the city’s best local food vendors, an incredible beverage program, plenty of photo ops and a variety of activations that will make the weekend even more memorable.

Have you set an alarm on your phone to grab tickets to the experience later this week? Do it!
