Meghan Markle ‘confident’ her ‘With Love, Meghan’ Netflix show will be a success: report

Meghan Markle chooses to be the eternal optimist.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, earlier this month dropped the first trailer for her Netflix lifestyle series, titled “With Love, Meghan,” in which she showed off her cooking and gardening skills with appearances from her celebrity friends.

But following the devastating fires that have ravaged Los Angeles in recent days, Markle announced that the show’s release has been pushed back to March 4th instead of January 15th.

Still, the sudden shift in plans hasn’t had an effect on Markle’s hopes for the project, as insiders claim she believes the Netflix project is “going to do well.”

“She’s so confident it’s going to go well and she’s going to get the accolades she deserves for it, which will finally shut some people up. She can’t wait,” a source told OK! Magazine.

The insider added that the “Suits” alum’s previous experience as an actress has played a role in her confidence in the business venture.

“She’s always been confident in her own abilities and even though her confidence took a hit when she was in the royal family, she’s riding high again and she’s so proud of this show,” added the source.

As for the show itself, insiders say the mother-of-two “doesn’t really mention” her royal connections in front of the cameras.

“People tend to underestimate her, but Meghan knows what the audience wants and she’s giving it to them with this show,” the source claimed.

“People always open up to her because she listens and cares. She knows the audience will warm to her if they give the show a chance.”

The Post has contacted Markle’s representatives for comment.

Directed by Michael Steed, “With Love, Meghan” boasts eight episodes, each 33 minutes long. Markle and Harry, 40, produced the series via their Archewell Productions company.

Announcing the show’s delay due to the LA fires, Markle said in a statement last week: “I am grateful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch as we focus on the needs of those affected by the wildfires in my home state of California.”

The series will follow the former royal in the kitchen with some of her famous friends, including Mindy Kaling and her “Suits” co-star Abigail Spencer.

The former actress finished filming the show in July.

The Sussexes signed a $100 million deal with the streaming giant in 2020. It’s unclear if their deal with the platform will be renewed when it ends this summer.
