Louisiana high school stabbing leads to early dismissal | Baton Rouge

Deputies are investigating an alleged stabbing between two students that occurred before classes started Tuesday morning at Livonia High School in Pointe Coupee Parish.

A 15-year-old allegedly stabbed another 15-year-old student while they were waiting to go through the metal detector before entering campus, according to a WAFB report.

The school said on its website that there was an incident involving an ambulance and that all parties were safe.

School was dismissed early in the day, according to Livonia High School officials. The boys and girls basketball games for today have also been cancelled.
