Substitute Diogo Jota rescues points for leaders after Chris Woods opens

SUPER SUB DIOGO JOTA REFLECTS ANOTHER FOREST GOAL AND SAVES A POINT

“It’s just a coincidence,” he told TNT Sports in a post-match interview at the pitch where his record of seven goals in seven games against Forest was noted. “Obviously I love scoring goals. I scored with my first touch today and it gave the team some momentum. I had two more chances, I think it could have given us the three points, but unfortunately I couldn’t.”

On the incredible impact he made, scoring from another sub Tsimikas’ corner: “I actually told him we saw the FA Cup goal a couple of years ago (where Jota scored the winner) and we said we’d recreate it, you’d give the assist and I’d score. It was one of the occasions when everything went right, but I’m not happy because we could have won.”

He added: “I think the keeper made two fantastic saves, but of course I want to do better.”

On the title run and staying undefeated on the road: “I think there’s a long way to go. Every pitch is tough in the league, even at home. It’s one more point, but of course we wanted all three.”
