Former First Lady Michelle Obama announced on Tuesday that she will not attend the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump.

Former presidents and their families have traditionally attended initiations after leaving office with the notable exception of the incoming president. Trump skipped the inauguration of President Joe Biden in 2021, in the wake of the Capitol riot on January 6.

The three living former presidents, who will not be sworn in on Jan. 20, plan to attend the inauguration, as well as Biden, who will leave office.

Here are the living former presidents and if they will attend the inauguration of President-elect Trump.
