Country band Rascal Flatts performs at the Commander in Chief Ball during Donald Trump’s inauguration weekend.

The country band’s lead singer and Columbus native Gary LeVox announced on social media Tuesday their appearance at the inaugural ball, making this the second time LeVox has performed at Donald Trump’s inauguration.

“I am so humbled and honored and grateful for the opportunity again to play the inauguration of the 47th President of the United States,” LeVox said on Instagram. “I got to play it in 2016 and now Rascal Flatts will be performing at Commander’s Ball and I’m so looking forward to it!”

Guitarist Jay DeMarcus is also a Columbus native. Together with Joe Don Rooney, the couple started the band in Nashville in 1999.

After a four-year hiatus, the group kicks off their “Life is a Highway” tour next month with a show in Columbus on March 6.
