NY Lottery: 2 Jackpot Winners Take Home $16K in TAKE 5 Games, Including 1 in NYC

STATEN ISLAND, NY — Two TAKE 5 jackpot prize winning tickets valued at over $16,000 were recently sold in New York State, including one ticket in New York City.

The New York Lottery announced that two winning tickets worth $16,074 – were sold for the January 14 TAKE 5 evening drawing.

One ticket was sold at Buckley’s Market, located at 251 Nassau Ave., in Brooklyn. Another winning ticket was sold at the Bolla 820 Hempstead C-Store, located at 820 Hempstead Ave., in West Hempstead, New York.

The winning numbers are: 4, 17, 18, 19 and 27.

TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of 1 to 39. To win the TAKE 5 jackpot you must match the five numbers on your ticket to the winning five number combination drawn. It costs $1 per game to play.

The draw is broadcast on television twice a day at 14.30 and 22.30. TAKE 5 players with noon and evening draws on the same ticket must check their numbers at nylottery.ny.gov to determine if they have the winning numbers for the corresponding dinner or evening drawing.

The odds of winning the TAKE 5 jackpot are 1 in 575,757.
