Tom Bradshaw: Millwall striker would be ‘good’ for Oxford United

Oxford United boss Gary Rowett says he would be interested in bringing Millwall and Wales striker Tom Bradshaw to the club.

Bradshaw, 32, played for Rowett when he was Millwall boss last season.

He has been linked with a move to the U’s after struggling to establish himself in the team this season.

“He’s the type of player that I certainly know very well,” Rowett told BBC Sport.

“I’ve worked with him for years, he has incredible enthusiasm, he presses really well, diligently, scores goals – he scored 17 goals in the Championship for me about 18 months ago.”

Rowett says Bradshaw, who last featured for Wales in October 2023, would be an ideal addition to his squad as they look to establish themselves in the Championship after winning promotion last season.

“We have a group of players that we want to look at the model that has been very successful for Oxford, which is helping to develop players, helping them improve and having the opportunity to build assets as they build performance, ” he added.

“But I think that in this division you also need players who know the level and know what you need.

“I think this window will be a bit of a mix of them, but Tom would definitely be a great addition for us.”
