Tyler, the Creator, Olivia Rodrigo and Hozier will headline the 2025 edition of Governors Ball, New York City’s largest music festival. The Gov Ball — which featured an iconic performance from Chappell Roan last year — returns to Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens on June 6-8. June, again in line with New York Music Month.

Other major artists on the bill include Variety 2024 Hitmakers awardees Benson Boone and Young Miko, as well as Tyla, Raye, Feid, Mk.Gee, Clairo, Glass Animals, Japanrese House, Conan Gray, Artemas, Mannequin Pussy, Mariah the Scientist, Mt. Joy, the back seat lovers, young Miko.

Celebrating 15 years and running for the third time at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Gov Ball features three days of performances from over 60 bands on three stages. The festival site is easily accessible by public transportation, with train stops just a few minutes’ walk away—either the subway from New York’s five boroughs or the Long Island Railroad from points east.

The festival will once again feature some of the city’s best local gourmet food offerings, including fan favorites from around Queens, plus a beverage lineup fit to beat the New York summer heat. Fun and engaging fan experiences, photo opportunities and more will abound in every corner of the iconic New York City park. Vendors, activations and additional programming will be announced in the coming weeks.

Roan made the most of her performance at last year’s festival, saying she turned down an offer from the Biden Administration to perform at its Pride event and performed her entire set dressed as the Statue of Liberty. Referring to her costume, she said: “I’m at odds with the greatest queen of all,” she said to cheers and laughter. “But if you had forgotten what is written on my pretty little toes, ‘give me your tired, your poor; your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,'” she said, quoting the poem inscribed on the 1903 bronze plaque on the Statue of Liberty pedestal. “It means freedom and trans rights, it means freedom and women’s rights, and it especially means freedom for all people in oppressed” — she paused, apparently tearless — “for all oppressed people in occupied territories.”
