Massive police presence in Stone Mountain Park

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – There is a massive police presence at Stone Mountain Park Thursday night.

DeKalb County police, some seen heavily armed, have blocked off all entrances to the park.

The police asked a visitor to get off the mountain because there was a man with a gun at the top. However, reports of someone with a weapon have not been confirmed.

Around 6:20 p.m., the First Alert Chopper saw what appeared to be a person being detained and put into a police cruiser.
