‘Hollywood Squares’ Snags Sunday, January 19 NFL Lead-Out Time Slot

Due to the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles, CBS delayed the start of the reboot of the classic game show Hollywood Squares until Thursday 16 January at 20 A.M. To maximize its sampling, the Eye network has now scheduled the second episode on Sunday, January 19 (approximately 10:00 p.m. ET) after NFL ON CBS – AFC Divisional Playoff: Baltimore Ravens at Buffalo Bills. So, Hollywood Squares moves to Wednesday 29 January at 10 p.m. as part of “CBS Game Night.”

Specifically, “CBS Game Night” features The price is right at night at 20 ET, followed by Raid the Cagehosted by Damon Wayans Jr. at 21 ET, and Hollywood Squares.

Hosted by Nate Burleson (CBS this morning, NFL today), and starring Drew Barrymore as the centerpiece, the format of Hollywood Squares reflects the previous versions of the game program. They highlighted competitors questions are asked by the host and contestants judge the veracity of their answers to get squares in the correct pattern to win the game.
