The Board of Education invites the community to learn about the 2026 budget process

The Montgomery County Board of Education invites the community to attend an important series of community meetings to gain a deeper understanding of the MCPS budget process.

According to the Education Council: Inside the MCPS Budget Process: How It Works and What’s Included will provide an opportunity to learn firsthand from Board Chair Julie Yang and MCPS Superintendent Dr. Thomas Taylor on the budget process and how this year’s recommended operating budget reflects the board’s values ​​and priorities.

After a short presentation, a Q&A session will allow attendees to ask questions and share thoughts directly with school leaders. It is important for everyone to understand the district budget, and we encourage you to participate in this important conversation. Community Meeting Schedule:
