It’s cool to casually open a social-media platform on Friday night to find one herd of people asks sore The US president-elect was hacked three days before his inauguration.

They asked because this post:

Note: These are not technical coinsthey are memeswhich is what crypto platform Moonshot calls its shitcoins.

The post was on TruthSocial, a platform majority owned by US President Donald Trump, which went public through a Spac last year. Since then, Trump’s account has done so submitted about a cabinet election. So it seems pretty safe to guess that it wasn’t actually hacked.

Trump has sold sneakers, watches, jewelry and a $60 Bible in the months leading up to the election, as MainFT ably reported. He also promoted a platform called “World Liberty Financial” and its token.

The World Liberty Financial token was sold to institutional cryptocurrency players — MainFT capped its token offering in mid-October to qualified (ie, high net worth or institutional) investors — but this meme-token-coin thing seems to focus on retail.
