Jeff Daniels hypes Lions, sings about ‘The Curse’ on ‘The Tonight Show’ – 9&10 News

Michigander Jeff Daniels joined “The Tonight Show” Tuesday night, and while he was there to talk about the 30th anniversary of “Dumb and Dumber” and his new memoir, what he really wanted to talk about — and sing about — was Detroit . Lions.

The actor-musician even brought his guitar and led the crowd in a fun rendition of his song “The Curse of Bobby Layne.” Daniels joked that ever since he and football player Peyton Manning talked about “The Curse” of 2022, the Lions have been a winning team. And now he hopes the ultimate curse will be broken and the Lions can add a Super Bowl victory to their resume.
