Dana White confirms UFC 311 status amid Los Angeles wildfires

UFC 311 To Be In California, Dana White Reveals

During a performance at “The Jim Rome Show,” UFC CEO Dana White was asked if there is any chance of UFC 311 being moved. White has confirmed that plans remain unchanged.

“No, there’s no way we’re moving it,” White said. “We’ll be there on Saturday, 100 percent.”

White was then asked if he believes UFC 311 can be an uplifting event for the people of California.

“Yeah, that’s the kind of vibe I’ve been getting from people that are on the road,” White said. “They’re excited to go to the game and not think about what’s been going on. What’s crazy is that I was there the night the fire started. I was actually out there in meetings and that was the first night, and it felt really crazy. For people who aren’t in LA, and you used to see it, all these fires in Southern California. It was a whole different vibe and feeling, and it’s just become worse. So yes, I think this will definitely be a boost for the people who live there.”

Ariel Helwani previously reported that while UFC officials hoped the promotion’s first pay-per-view event in 2025 would be in California, the company was prepared to change locations if necessary. Helwani reported that the front-runner was Las Vegas, which White later confirmed when speaking with Adin Ross.

The Intuit Dome will remain the site of UFC 311, and it will be the organization’s debut at the new venue.
