Extreme cold for dinner today

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The worst of this arctic onslaught is happening this morning with double digit wind chills below zero.

Expect a windy afternoon with temperatures of 10 to 15 degrees.

A south wind this afternoon at 10-20 mph. The sky will become cloudy first in the afternoon.

It won’t be too cold tonight with temperatures holding steady in the lower to mid-teens under mostly cloudy skies.

The next front will arrive tomorrow.

Cloudy with scattered afternoon snow showers in the forecast. High temperatures in the 20s.

We’ll briefly get back into some arctic air behind this front on Friday with a mix of clouds and sun.

We expect a little lake effect snow east of Cleveland, but with lots of ice now on Lake Erie we don’t expect heavy snow.
