Supporters traveling to Thursday’s UEFA Europa League match against Manchester United should be aware of the following information.

Rangers would like to thank Manchester United, Greater Manchester Police and Manchester City Council for their supportive and accommodating approach to this match.

Supporters should note that Greater Manchester Police will be equipped with body cameras. These are implemented for general use and not specifically for this match. In addition, pyrotechnic detection dogs will be in operation.

The use of pyrotechnics is illegal in football stadiums and any supporter in possession of a pyrotechnic device at any match will be arrested. The club will be severely punished for any use of pyrotechnics in a stadium.

Rangers are a modern football club, with our supporters recognized across Europe for the positive way they support their teams. Songs and songs of a discriminatory nature have absolutely no place in 2025.

As the men’s first team continue their season in Europe, supporters are reminded that UEFA have sanctions within their power to punish discriminatory chanting which would be extremely damaging to the club on and off the pitch.
