Billy Ray Cyrus’ Son Spores Pens Public Plea that encourages singer to get help

Track Cyrus, like a child, would be like Father Billy Ray Cyrus who grew up. Today, he says, he can “hardly recognize” his father as someone he once thought was “the coolest person ever.”

The younger Cyrus, whose sisters are pop stars Miley Cyrus and Noah Cyrus, expressed his complex feelings about “Achy Breaky Heart” singer on Wednesday on Instagram. The Emotionally open letter said he and his sisters “have been really worried about” their father for years and claimed “you’ve pushed us all away.”

Billy Ray Cyrus shares five children with ex-wife Tish Cyrus Purcell: Adoptive Kids Trace and Brandi (whom Tish welcomed with her first husband, Baxter Neal Helson), plus Miley, Braison and Noah. He is also the father of Christopher Cody Cyrus, whom he welcomed with ex-boyfriend Kristin Luckey in 1992. Billy Ray and Tish got married from 1993 to 2022.

Trace Cyrus, 35, claimed on Wednesday that his 63-year-old father has not been present for Noah (“she deserves better”) and that his dear has been “hanging on memories” and held hope that “the man we a one time knew “would return.

“You are not a healthy father, and everyone notices it,” continued Trace Cyrus.

He added: “I hope you are only aware that this message comes from a place of love and also fears that the world may lose you way too soon.”

In addition to issuing his and his family’s complaints, Trace Cyrus apparently offered a helping hand to his alienated father, whom he suspects, goes through his own personal problems.

“I would love to help you if you wanted to open up and receive the help,” wrote Trace, who said he has been alcohol -free for more than a year.

Representatives of Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley Cyrus and Noah Cyrus did not immediately respond to Times’ request for comment.

Trace Cyrus shared his statements days after his father appeared on President Trump’s Liberty Ball on Monday. The oldest Cyrus started its inauguration day set Singing shaking with both his verse and rapping Lil Nas X’s part from their 2019 -hit “Old Town Road”, though his vocals were noticeably drown by the music video playing in its entirety in the background. At one point he had paused – then restarted – his song for synchronization with the video.

“I think you were just warmed up to be honest,” he told participants, before performing “Old Town Road” choir by repeat for just 30 seconds.

He admitted, “They asked me to kill as much time as possible.”

Billy Ray Cyrus concluded, after dealing with several technical difficulties, his set by singing a minute -long part of “Achy Breaky Heart”, a nearly 3½ minute song, a Capella. On Instagram, he Called The last part of his performance “The Most Fun Part” of the Monday Ball.
