Despite some pressure from LeBron James and Anthony Davis to make features that will improve the overview before the trading deadline, Los Angeles Lakers does not appear to operate with any feeling that it is urging right now.

At this point, it would not be a surprise if the Lakers list on February 6 is the same as it is now. They may make a marginal feature or two, but there are just not so many players available that make the difference that would justify an all-in-type feature.

For all the concerns about Lakers at different times this season, they have moved up to fifth place in the Western Conference with a record of 24-18.
