If you’re on social media, you were probably as smitten as I was with Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner’s recent super-luxe Aspen vacation.
To recap, the models all jetted off for a winter vacation in the luxurious Colorado ski town, and while there, they made a number of glamorous appearances in coordinating fur coats. Massive, shaggy, fabulous faux fur coats. Kendall wore hers with a classic white T-shirt, black pants and cowboy boots. Kylie styled hers with sheer tights and pointed heels. And Hailey’s fur coat was so incredibly oversized that it was impossible to see what she was wearing underneath, but she paired it with black square leather boots.
At the time, I assumed that It girls were just It girls and wanted to look classy while staying warm in the snow. But now, with Kylie’s latest announcement, the outfit choices all make a little more sense. The younger Jenner revealed today on Instagram that her fashion label, Khy, is dropping an entire collection of oversized, fluffy, faux fur coats: “General items reimagined in faux fur and leather.”
In campaign photos, she sits on a chair wearing a cozy caramel brown fur coat that is so oversized that it gathers around her feet on the floor. She styles it with nothing but sheer black tights and pointed black heels – the same outfit she wore in Aspen – and holds a red rose with dripping petals. A mob wife for Valentine’s Day? Yes, thank you.
