Should you start or sit Keon Coleman in the AFC Conference Championship Game?

Rookie recipients often take time to develop, so much we know. The problem is the vague nature of this opinion.

“Take time.”

It “took time” for me to free to my now-wife. We met in high school – so technically it took me a decade to ask her. It also “took time” for me to make lunch yesterday. Both of these sentences are accurate, but the “time frame” is very different.

Keon Coleman is on the timeline “Kyle takes too long to free his girlfriend” more than the “lunch making path” that Ladd McConkey assumed.

Is it clumsy? That’s it, but you understand the point. Not all development is linear, and Coleman’s profile does not scream outbreaks of the divisional round. The rooki has only four catches on 62 routes during his last three games, and his last 113 routes have only 85 yards.

You will have to become different somewhere on this board and if you want to bet on a talented young receiver with a game-breaking qb, I can’t call you crazy. That said, Chiefs is a top-10 defense in both Presrate and Deep Touchdown Passing Percentage-two forces that make Coleman have a ceiling game for difficult sales.

He is priced at the same level as Curtis Samuel and Amari Cooper for this board, a location that I think makes good sense. From a per-dollar point of view, I would throw the dice on Coleman from that group, but it is Khalil Shakir or bust for me in this reception room in most situations.

PFN insight into the defense of the bosses

Chiefs was a top-10 defense when they went into week 18, but saw their ranking tank after Backups flopped against Broncos.

With the university team back to the divisional round, Kansas City demonstrated what type of disturbance this unit can generate with full strength. Steve Spagnuolos Blitztunge Gameplan overwhelmed the Texans. Chiefs generated pressure on 73.3 % of their flash against Houston, the highest of any team to send 15+ flashes in a match this season.

The only problem area that emerged from the divisional round was the third-down defense. With the exception of Week 18, Kansas City allowed his second highest third-down conversion rate (58.8%) throughout the season. The only higher rate they allowed was for their AFC Championship Game opponent when Bills converted 60 % of their third Downs in week 11.

After a few shaking weeks and middle seasonal issues, it seems that Chiefs is toping ahead of their eighth AFC title match in a row. It is a well -known story and can also result in a well -known ending in February.
