ONE High wind warning will be in effect through Tuesday morning in several New York counties, including Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Genesee, Wyoming and Chautauqua.
High Wind Warning in NY: What to Expect
- Southwest Winds 30 to 40 km/h with gusts up to 65 km/h expected.
- Strong winds blow down trees and power lines. Dead ash trees will be especially susceptible.
- Scattered power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles.
