Bronx Ice Raid: Federal Agent’s Arrest Suspended Wanted After Double Murder of Dominican Republic

Bronx (WABC) – A migrant from the Dominican Republic was taken into custody during a RAID in Bronx on Tuesday morning.

It happened at the same time as an alleged member of Tren de Aragua, who wanted in connection with a trapped-on-camera invasion and shooting in Aurora, Colorado, was also arrested.

The unidentified Dominican National was arrested at Creston Avenue and was allegedly desired in connection with a double murder

“They looked at everyone’s documents, but only took one person,” said one resident, describing the arrest early morning.

DEA posted images of the enforcement action, and mobile phone video from across the street showed a sword of federal agents from different departments.

A woman who did not want to be identified was in the apartment at the time.

“He told them he was married and they still took him away,” she said.

The residents said he rented a room about a month ago. Another man was also in the apartment and said he was awakened at around 1 p.m. 06:30

“I was a little scared, but everything is okay with my process,” he said.

“Almost everyone who is here is an immigrant,” the woman said. “They cause a lot of damage to families and children who have a small police of the police are coming here.”

In addition to the two arrests in Bronx, another person was taken into custody by federal agents at Audubon Avenue in Washington Heights. Few details were known in this case.
