The White House remains obliged to freeze federal grants and loans aimed at “woke” programs, Fox News has learned, despite the administration’s steps to abolish the original office of management and budget note – effectively end the legal battle and any “confusion” for recipients.

A federal judge paused on Tuesday Trump -Management Office of Management and Budget (OMB) MEMO that aimed to freeze financing to various federal programs.

On Wednesday, the Trump Administration canceled the original memo.

“In the light of the injunction, OMB has lifted the memo to end any confusion in the federal policy created by the court decision and the dishonest media coverage,” the White House press secretary told Karoline Leavitt to Fox News on Wednesday. “The executive orders issued by the president of financing reviews remain in full strength and effect and will be implemented closely by all agencies and departments.”

Leavitt told Fox News that resigning the memo “effectively ends the trial and allows the government to focus on enforcing the president’s orders to control federal expenses.”

“In the coming weeks and months, more executive action will continue to end the irregular waste of federal funding,” Leavitt said.

The memo sent to federal agencies on Monday issued a break on all federal grants and loans aimed at eradicating “wokeness” and “weapons of weapons” to improve government effectiveness.

“Federal agencies must temporarily break all activities related to the commitment or payment of all federal financial assistance and other relevant agency activities that may be involved by the executive orders, including, but not limited to, financial assistance to foreign aid, non -state organizations, Dei, woke up gender ideology and the green new deal, “Memoet obtained by Fox Digital sounds.

The break was set to take effect at. 17 Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday.

The Democrats had criticized the Trump administration’s freezing of federal funds and argued that President Trump is bypassing Congress and withholding congressional funds violating the law of decomposition control.

Federal judge pauses trump admin’s temporary federal grants, loan freezes

US district judge Loren Alikhan for District of Columbia, appointed by the former president Joe Bidenintroduced an administrative stay on Tuesday afternoon and paused Trump administration’s action.

The administrative stay will freeze until Monday.

The White House emphasized that despite the fact that the memo was lifted, money coming out of federal agencies is in violation of the president’s executive orders, such as funding for diversity, equity and inclusion programs, these funds are still frozen.

But programs, including social security services, Medicare, food stamps, welfare benefits and other help that go directly to individuals, will not be affected during the break, according to Leavitt.

Leavitt, under the press at the White House, described the break on Tuesday as “temporary” and noted that the Trump administration has executed other freezers throughout the government, including a legislative and employment break.

“It is up to this administration to make sure that every penny is explained honestly,” Leavitt said.

In addition, Leavitt said that Trump’s newly created government efficiency department aimed at eliminating public spending and waste identified $ 37 million, which was about to go to the World Health Organization along with $ 50 million to “finance condoms in Gaza.”

“It’s an inappropriate waste of money,” Leavitt said.
