The penultimate round of the league for the UEFA Champions League will end on Wednesday and the bet is higher than ever.

After seven match days of unpredictable and entertaining football, Liverpool and Barcelona are the only two pages that have confirmed their place in the next round.

Out of the 36 teams involved, 25 of them only learn their knockout -phase fate when the final flute goes in each of the 18 matches.

Arsenal and Aston Villa have secured knockout round football, but whether they have to play in the final game or receive automatic qualification for the last 16 will be decided tomorrow.

While the 2023-24 Premier League winners take Club Bruges in the prominent fixture at night, when something other than a victory for Pep Guardiola’s men would see the disposable masters go down the competition.
