Steph Curry is likely to return to Warriors vs. Thunder on Espn

Fresh from an encouraging bench -clad victory over Utah Jazz On Tuesday night, the Golden State Warriors are back in action for a Wednesday night -Showdown with Oklahoma City Thunder at ESPN.

Thunder has the best record in the NBA, and unlike Warriors, not only has a rest day, but two days. So it’s a very difficult game. On the other hand, Warrior’s is a little healthier than they were on Tuesday, so it’s important. And in particular, Dennis Schröder-there left Tuesday’s game after a terrible appearance fall, but was able to return to the game-not listed as wounded.

Here is the full injury -report.

Warriors

Out – Draymond Green (left calf stem)

Green is approaching a return. Warriors released an injury update on him earlier this week excluding him through Friday’s match against Phoenix Suns. The hope is that he will practice on Saturday and return to action Monday against Orlando Magic.

Out – Jonathan Kuminga (Right ankle Splace)

Kuminga’s update was a little more serious, with Warriors announcing on Monday that he will be evaluated in two weeks. The most likely return date for Kuminga is February 21 when Dubs visits Sacramento Kings in their first match out of the All-Star break.

Likely – Steph Curry (bilateral knee injury handling)

Curry was scratched from Tuesday’s lineup less than two hours before the game. It was not surprising that he did not play when he only played in a back-to-back in the last two months as the team monitors his knee. But being such a late scratch had some worried that his knees flared up after two off days, and put his status in danger of this game. But now it seems that Warriors were just playing it safely and only loved to advertise it as he seems to go to showdown against fellow All-Star starts Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Thunder

Out – Chet Holmgren (right iliac wing fracture)

Holmgren has not played since he has suffered an injury to Warriors back on November 10th. He is still a way away from returning, but is expected to join the team this season. They have been the best team in the NBA without him, so his return will be scary for the league.

Out – Nikola Topić (left knee operation)

Topić will have to wait until next year to join Nikolas Jokić, Jović and Vučević in the prestigious active “Nikola ____ Ić” group. No. 12 -Slag in June’s draft suffered an ACL injury on the forecast and will miss the whole season.

Out – Ajay Mitchell (Right Good toe Surgery)

Unfortunately, all my toes are just mediocre, not big. Mitchell had a fantastic season for a rookie second round pick, but suffered an injury earlier this month that will sideline him for a while. OKC still hopes he will return this year, but something that has been made more likely by the fact that they appear to be destined for a deep race after the season.

Out – Dillon Jones (G League -allocation)

Jones was a late first round election in June’s draft, but has not yet broken into Thunder’s list. He is in the G -League and gets some spices.

Enjoy the action, DUB Nation!
