Timberwolves wave away from Phoenix Suns

Phoenix – Last time Timberwolves – coach Chris Finch coach a game at the Phoenix’s Footprint Center, he did not finish the game after Mike Conley crashed into him and jumped his patellar Late in Game 4 in last season’s playoffs.

Finch wasn’t alone. Jaden McDaniels was also exposed to a confrontation with Devin Booker scoring 28 points.

Anthony Edwards, who separated Finch from the officials after the draft, led Wolves by 33 points and had a good time letting the Phoenix quantity hear about the kind of night he had after a few cans in the fourth quarter. Nickeil Alexander-Walker had a lead role from the bench with 23 points. Alexander-Walker was 5-for-10 from three-point reach, the best offensive game he has had in a while. Julius Randle beat in 28.

The wolves turned the game around after being down 72-70 when Finch was thrown. The wolves led by as many as 16 in the fourth quarter.

Kevin Durant had 33 for Phoenix.

Offense went slowly in the first quarter of Wolves, who had plenty of grips with the officials. Finch picked up a technical in the first quarter, while Edwards had regular complaints after drives for the brace without calls. The wolves committed five revenue and fell afterwards after an 11-0 Suns race did it 11-5. They played collection for the rest of the quarter. With Naz Reid out due to a disease, Luka Garza got minutes off the bench.
