Inside the United Airlines Flight Carnage as six hospitalized in the hospital due to sudden shock before emergency landing

Six people were led to the hospital and many more were injured after one United Airline flight from Lagos on the way to Washington DC experienced a sudden movement during the flight.

The United States has opened a probe in the unexpected movement as the cause is still unknown.

US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) said Monday that it is investigating the flight that left Lagos, Nigeria In the early hours of Friday morning for what is usually a six hour flight to Washington Dulles International Airport in Virginia.

NTSB said the incident at United Flight 613 took place as Boeing 787 Flyed in Ivory Coast airspace if authorities have delegated the investigation to NTSB, Reuters Reports.

Data from Flightradar shows the flight that leaves Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos at 19 minutes over midnight, and about an hour and a half into the flight, the aircraft makes a U-turn over the Ivory Coast and goes back to Nigeria.

The flight then made one Emergency landing Back in its departure airport in Lagos about three hours after it started.

Recordings on social media show meals and personal items thrown on the floor in the hallway, while passengers can be heard shouting and sounding distressed.

United said in a statement that the aircraft experienced a “technical problem and an unexpected aircraft movement”.

The airline added the aircraft, which landed safely in Lagos, where four passengers and two flying were seen in the hospital for injuries they were inflicted and have since been released.

While the airline described the damage as “less”, the federal airport authority in Nigeria (Faan) said the damage sustained by the six were “serious”. They also added that another 27 passengers and five crew also had minor injuries.

It is unclear what caused the sudden shock to the plane. United said it was not serious turbulence and that it “works with aviation authorities in the US and Nigeria to understand the cause”, according to Cnn.

The flight carried 245 passengers, eight flying and three pilots at the time of the incident.

Faan said that Aerodrome Rescue and Fire Fighting Services as well as medical and security staff were already at the gate and waited for the aircraft’s arrival after the pilot reported distress at 1 p.m. 1.20.

It added that passengers who did not have to be seen in the hospital received first aid and were discharged immediately, while some passengers were also taken to a hotel.

The aircraft itself had no major damage, Faan said.
