CNNs Gabe Cohen has indicated to the news network that the mood of the first respondents is gloomy and that the rescue effort moved into “a restore effort.”

He told CNN:

I talked to a source of law just minutes ago. He told me that there is a really bleak atmosphere, even on the rescue scene. Associated Press reports that an admission of Air Tower Communications has been captured by the LigeatC.net, as the agency described as “a respected source of admission during flight.”

In the recording, seconds after the last message from the American Airlines flight, another plane called the tower and said “Tower, did you see it?”

An air traffic controller then redirected aircraft on the way to runway 33 on Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport to walk around.
