‘Wheel of Fortune’ fans’ angry reaction to the final choice of puzzles.

A regular one Wheel of Fortune Pet Peeve had fans Fuming and Complaints (and many other words that end on -Ing) After Wednesday evening (January 29) a big bonus round bomber.

The participant facing the setback from fans was Tamika Star, a singer working with the armed forces from Triangle, Vermont, facing Max Nussenbaum from Brooklyn, New York and Rebecca Levin, from San Diego, California.

Star priested well throughout the episode, which she eventually won by $ 16,400, just pipping Nussenbaum, which ended in second place with $ 15,250. This sent her on to the bonus round to get a chance to add even more money to her overall winnings.

The native Vermont had a choice between three categories, person, thing or what are you doing? She decided for the latter and was shown a two-word puzzle that read: “_ _ _ _ N _ / _ R _ _ _ N _.”

With four additional letters that still had to choose, Star had a chance to fill a significant part of the puzzle to help her solve it. As a long time Wheel Viewers know most of the time, what are you doing? Puzzles start with a word that ends on -ing; Therefore, it makes no sense for a participant to waste their choices on these letters.

Unfortunately, Star didn’t get the note when she chose the letters “I, G, C and D.” This gave her a puzzle that then read: “_ _ _ ing / _ r _ _ n _.”

The letter choices did not help to do anything clearer, and Star was unable to train “joke around”, which means she lost at extra $ 40,000.

Many viewers found that Star’s letter choice was massively frustrating and went to social media to share their reactions.

“Nothing makes me more angry at this show than … someone who says i & g on a” what are you doing “last puzzle,” wrote a fan on the Wheel of Fortune Reddit Forum.

“I screamed on the TV tonight. When they choose in and g and losing, I scream, “Earn you right !!!” “Said another.

“I’m so glad I’m not the only one,” another added.

Another explained, “Called a Gerund phrase: To wash the dog, make breakfast, run errands … This has also buzzed me! In what you’re doing, the first word in G.

“Ha! Last night I said that I and G are such a waste of letters! “Said another.

“All other letters except those you already know are guaranteed to be there !! Therefore, it is a total waste to call in and g, ”wrote a commentator.

However, there were a few who defended Star’s decision, where a user pointed out: “It is possible that these letters appear more than once.”

Another one agreed to write: “I think sometimes WOF Choosing one last puzzle with multiple GS because they don’t expect people to choose G. Wasn’t there a finale What are you doing puzzle that had the word “giggle” in it? I think it’s fine to choose g just in case. “

A user claimed there are occasions where what are you doing? Puzzles do not end up with a -ing. “Included today, Wayd? is selected in syndication 232 times. 73 of them had no further in or g, which is approx. 31%, ”they shared.
