Sherri Papini’s alleged ex Shauhin Davari joins Survivor 48 Role herd

Shauhin Davarithat is allegedly dated Sherri Papini Before her kidnapping hoax is now a role crew member at Survivor.

Davari, 38, is one of season 48 participants, where the full role crew was announced by CBS on Wednesday, January 29. He is best known for previous comments about dating papini, 42, before she made headlines for a kidnapping of Hoax. Papini disappeared on November 2, 2016 after going for a jogging in her neighborhood in California and showing up 22 days later, which was when she claimed she had been beaten and marked by prisoners.

When new details emerged after her return, Papini was eventually arrested in 2022 for orchestrating her abduction. She pleaded guilty to a federal judge later that year and was sentenced to 18 months in prison for committing postal fraud and lying to a federal officer to be kidnapped.

“(I am) so sorry for the pain I have caused my family, my friends, all the good people who unnecessarily suffered because of my story and those who worked so hard to try to help me,” said Papini In a statement on time about how “deeply ashamed” she was of her actions. “I want to work for the rest of my life to fix what I’ve done.”

Papini was also ordered to pay more than $ 300,000 in refund for losses held by California’s victim compensation committee, Social Security Administration, Shasta County Sheriff’s Office and Federal Bureau of Investigation. She was released from prison in August 2023.

Davari, on his side, called Papini a “forced onion” while discussing their alleged romance in 2022. (Papini addresses not his comments at the time.)

“I was like, there’s no way (she was kidnapped). She is doing well. I promise you she is doing well. There’s just no chance she was kidnapped, ”he said Inside Edition. “She wouldn’t talk to you for three or four days, and then suddenly there would be a great story about what happened.”
